In addition to intensive rehabilitation programs with our therapy teams, we aim to provide a lifestyle that satisfies the social, cultural, religious and recreational interests and needs of our residents allowing them to exercise choice and control at all levels. We aim to help residents continue to enjoy a wide range of individual and group activities and interests both inside and outside of the home. We constantly use the local community making use of a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. We also have links with various day centres where additional interests and educational pursuits can be enjoyed.
The company has access to a multi disciplinary neuro-therapy team who devise therapeutic programmes to suit all needs. This is particularly useful when utilising our in-house hydrotherapy area. We have also established links to the local community health teams so that individual needs are suited at all times.
Our aim is to make the home as welcoming as possible with visits from friends and relatives always encouraged. There are no set visiting time, although where possible meal times need to be avoided in order to respect the privacy and dignity of residents who generally need assistance when eating. We expect all visitors to have left the home by 10.30pm but these times are of course flexible upon request and as needs arise.
