The Home

Coombe Hill welcomes both elderly and Young Physically Disabled residents. Accommodation is available for respite and long term stay with each part of the home having lift access to all areas including the gardens.

All residents are encouraged to use our extensive rehabilitation facilities which include the Hydrotherapy pool, physiotherapy services and other forms of state of the art equipment.

Location

Coombe Hill Nursing Home is situated in the heart of Surbiton, Surrey. The town centre with its numerous bus routes, British Rail Station and shops is 100 metres away, with the London Waterloo being a mere 8 minutes away by train. The River Thames and its colourful embankment is within a 10 minute walk allowing excellent access to Kingston upon Thames and its wide range of shopping and leisure activities.

Accommodation

All of the home’s rooms are furnished to a high standard with each one boasting a colour television, wash hand basin, telephone point, smoke detectors and 24hr Nurse Call systems. The rooms are fully furnished although residents are welcome to bring with them small items of furniture and personal belongings as they wish.

Shared, single and en-suite rooms are also available within the home and the lounge and dining areas are comfortable, spacious and attractively furnished.

Unique to Coombe Hill, all of our residents have the chance to choose the colour of the walls of their new room prior to moving in. Titleworth Healthcare Ltd are proud to offer this unique service free of charge to our new residents as we strive to make our home as comfortable and homely as possible anyone moving in. Activities

The company provides a regular programme of special that includes both in-house activities and outside trips.

A daily and invigorating activity programme is organised by our fantastic team of support workers.

Chiropody, newspaper delivery, hairdressing and extra (additional) physiotherapy are available by prior arrangement as and when required.

Visiting

Visitors are always welcome at any time although we do ask that meal times are avoided when possible as the home is very busy at these times and we like to retain the dignity of all residents that need assistance with feeding. We respectfully request that all visitors leave the home by 10.30pm each evening although these times are flexible upon request.

Nursing Care

The home caters for a wide range of physical and mental needs with qualified and experienced nursing and care staff on duty 24 hours a day. Individual nursing care programmes are developed in conjunction with the Service Users and their families, to promote maximum physical and mental well being. The home prides itself on its excellent reputation in the market and exceptional standards of care are provided at all times.

Medical Care

Service Users are able to retain their own GPs if they wish; otherwise, they can transfer to our Doctor who visits the home on a regular basis.

Religious Services

The home caters for all faiths and religious services are held in the home on a regular basis with visits by ministers being arranged if required.

Meals

All meals within the home are provided by Caterplus, one of the UK’s leading 5* Hospitality companies. Caterplus ensure the provision of fresh home-cooked nutritional meals for the pleasure of our residents.

Our daily timetable looks like this:

  • Morning Tea from 06.30am
  • Breakfast from 07.30am
  • Mid-morning coffee & biscuits from 10.30am
  • Lunch from 12.30pm
  • Afternoon Tea from 3.00pm
  • Supper from 5.30pm
  • Night time drink from 8.00pm

Fees

Fees are calculated according to the level of nursing care required.
